Turkey is very reasonably prices, expect to pay between 50—75 TRL for a 3 course meal for 2 with wine (£20— £28)

The local beer Effes is 2.5—3.5 lira for a large glass. Local produce at the market is very cheap.

 

Is Calis,& Fethiye a safe area?

The area around Fethiye is very safe, I would recommend taking the same precautions of as you would anywhere else. However, we have experienced very little trouble and we have travelled with teenage children who want a certain amount of freedom and they enjoy the laid back atmosphere.

There is a small local shop within 3 mins of the villa. The main supermarket is a bus ride away. The bus stops just outside the complex & just outside Migros (the supermarket) - no need to carry anything very far! Bars & restaurants are within 5 mins walk of the villa.

Yes, the accommodation is very spacious and there are covered terraces to keep the children out of the sun. There is also a TV & DVD player, I suggest you bring your child’s favorite DVD’s. There is also a kiddies pool as well as 2 other pools for the older children. As with anything children should be supervised while using the swimming pools. We have 2 additional cots available for our younger guests.

We can arrange transfers for you at very reasonably prices. We recommend Orange but there are a number of options. General guidelines are £70 for 1-4 persons, £80 for 5 –7 persons & £90 for 8-12

Not if you don’t want to hire one, the local Dolmus (bus) is on your door stop as are many restaurants, shops & bars. There are also lots of organized tours, like 12 Island Boat Trip, Jeep safari etc. Car is from approx. £24 per day
