Darren & Family Jul 2008 This is a very nice villa, very well kept and decorated. It was probably the nicest accommodation we have stayed in. It had everything that we needed for a very enjoyable family holiday. The pool is large & clean and just outside the villa. The complex was lovely very green and it is just a stones throw away from the beach. The kids loved it. The owner Lorraine is very nice & helpful and arranged things like the transfers. The accommodation cant be faulted, every bedroom has a view, the living room and open plan kitchen were very roomy. The location was great not far from the bars & restaurants. Great beach bar & lounge area just along the beach, great for kids to play & adults to chill out. I can totally recommend this villa. You never know what you are going to get but we were very pleasantly surprised by villa and the complex. Perfect for families."
Julia & Pau; & Olga & Ant Jun 2008 This is a fabulous villa. Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a great holiday. The villa is actually nicer then the photos on the site if that is possible. It was a fair bit larger then we expected. The views from the main bedroom & the top floor terrace very excellent, every bedroom has a balcony or terrace. It was great in the morning coming out onto the balcony and have a cuppa and enjoy the magnificent sea views. The standard of accommodation is excellent, the property was spotless on arrival & the beds made up beautifully with lovely white sheets. All bathroom are clean & modern. The complex is just lovely, lots of flowers & colour. The villa is just by the main pool which was never busy. There is a little bar on site great for kid's ice-creams & grown up's beer. To get to the beach you go out of the front gate walk 40 metres and there you are - fantastic, the kids loved the trips to the beach - no are we nearly there! Location wise it was excellent, 5 mins walk to the nearest shop & restaurant. There is a booklet in the villa that tells you everything you need to know. We loved Bella Mama's, Calis Beach Restaurant & Georges. The food was good quality wherever we went. The dolmus (a little bus) was an experience and great fun, the water taxi from Calis to Fethiye is a must. I can recommend this villa & location, great for families and couples. Lorraine is very helpful & she does her most to ensure you have a good time. She arranged the transfers and gave us lots of tips. This villa is good value and you get what you pay for. We so enjoyed our holiday in Turkey, we want to go back. We looked at a number of villas & locations & this has to be one of the nicest villas on one of the best located complex's. Julia, Paul, Olga & Ant & the children."
Helen from Liverpool Jun & Sept 2007 This is such a lovely villa in a really nice complex. My family and I had a really nice & relaxing two weeks. The villa is very well decorated, the bedrooms all nicely furnished & it was a joy to have such nice bathrooms; no arguments. We ate out most nights, Lorraine suggested a few restaurants and all were very good and reasonably priced. We did the jeep safari & that was such a laugh. We loved the location right on the beach, we actually went the other way from Calis along the beach & found some lovely little restaurants with sun beds and our own little piece of heaven. I would recommend this villa to anyone and I thought we got excellent value for money. The area is great very laid-back & has something for everyone. There is lots to do, if you want to or just laze by the pool (my favourite). The one thing money can't buy is the info we got from Lorraine who is very helpful and really goes out of her way to ensure we had a lovely holiday. Other members of our family (my brother & his family) had been out before (and recommended the villa) and I most certainly want to go back as there is a lot more to
Marion & Martin & family Aug 2007 We booked this property after being let down through a double booking. It took a lot of searching for as it had to meet a set criteria as there were 6 adults and 1 infant going. I must say, the double booking was the best thing that happened to us. Annirozi exceeded all our expectations! The Villa is clean an spacious, the furniture is of excellent quality. There is everything in the villa that anyone could need. The washing machine was an absolute godsend! The pool directly outside the villa is large and cleaned daily. There is a small booklet written by the owners for you to browse through when you get there, and if you read this, you'll have no problems with anything, it is full of very clear instructions and information. There is also a guest book to sign when you leave. When Lorraine, the owner found out we needed to hire a travel cot, she went out of her way to find all the information we needed, then when she found further bookings taking small children and babies, she went out and bought 2 travel cots! This is the kind of service no one can quibble with. I wrote on numerous occasions to Lorriane, asking sometimes very simple and stupid questions, but she answered everyone, with I might add total honesty. Calis itself is a beautiful place, strolling along the beach front on a night, watching the sun setting, eating at Bella Mamma's, what more could anyone ask. There is also tons to do during the day, trips over to Fethiye, boat trips, Jeep safari to name but a few, stay away from the Quad biking in Calis though, as this has been taken over from the man who used to run it and is now just a total rip off. £25, for supposedly 4 or 5 hours quading with lunch. The lads came back totally bored! They had to drive in a single line formation, never even getting to 30 mph. Not allowed to do any of the things they used to do, just slow driving up to the woods, straight in and out of the water and back to Calis. Martin was sooooo disappointed with this as he did it 4 years ago and had raved about it to our son in laws, only to feel a fool when they came back. All I can think of to say now is a huge thank you to Lorraine and Larry, for allowing us to use their beautiful home. Our first family holiday with our beautiful baby grand daughter Reanna-Leigh, could not have been spent in a nicer place. Marion & Martin Rusling, Becky, Lee & Reanna-Leigh, Niki & Craig XXX"
Anne-Marie Wolverhampton Aug 2007 We visited in Aug 2007 I agree with all the reviews about the villa. It is lovely, clean and spacious. There were 7 in our party (5 adults and 2 teenagers) and we never felt crowded. Each room has it’s own balcony (the second floor balcony is huge and we watched the beautiful sunset from here) and there are plenty of sun loungers. Lorraine arranged our transfers and they were great and prompt – it’s only 50 mins to the villa from Dalaman airport. The temperature in August was punishing however the air-con and pool were a God send. It was lovely just to walk out on to the patio and then a few steps into the pool. Although the large pool is shared it never felt crowded (there are others pools but we didn’t feel the need to use these). The shops are a minute away – the bread is cheap and lovely. The fruit is lovely from the markets (as well as the pancakes and kebabs). There is a Sunday market in Calis (the bus/dolmus will drop you off there if you ask them) and Tuesday in Fethiye (this is larger). The bus stop is next to the complex and is so handy to pop into Fethiye, which is a lovely marina with lots of shops. It is only 1L (40p) and will drop you off anywhere along the route. Be aware that there are 2 different buses (red and green) the red buses take about 15 mins longer as they seem to go all over. You can catch a further bus from Fethiye (with air con) to Hisonaru and Olu Deniz. Olu Deniz is beautiful. We did pay a small amount to go into the Blue Lagoon however it was so crowded in high season we came back out on to the main beach area. We went on a day trip to Dalyan – the beach there is lovely and sandy (shale and pebbles in Calis and Olu Deniz) although the sea can be quite rough (walk to the right side of the beach and there is a small inlet of calm beautiful water with an amazing view). You can also catch a water taxi to/from Calis for 3L, which is about 10 mins walk away. The highlight for me was the paragliding. Honestly you have to do it, it’s so peaceful when you are in the air and the view is beyond words. We flew with a company called Pegam (I think that’s spelt right) although I wouldn’t recommend them as the jeep broke down twice and we had to wait for 2 hrs on the mountain. People selling these trips will promise you lots of things e.g. we were promised an air conditioned jeep – it was a jeep without a roof on! The strip of restaurants is just a couple of minutes away but it doesn’t encroach on the complex in any way. The food is lovely and well priced. We enjoyed the food at the Lighthouse however the music is way too loud (try and find a night when they don’t play it). Bella Mamas was nice too. We also discovered ice-cream cake and solid ice-cream that you have to eat with a knife and fork from Mado on the strip (seriously addictive). There is also a small bar on the complex which was handy although my fiancé had discovered the local raki which we bought from the shops 2 mins away. The dishwasher and washing machine were a welcome luxury and the teens enjoyed the fact there was a tv and dvd player. Do not fly Onur Air – it is the basic of the basic. No tv or radio stations and the staff just look unhappy or tired. The temperature on the plane is stifling and the air con doesn’t work. The toilets smell. They do suffer from delays as well (we had a 12hr delay with no information – had to keep ringing home to try and find out anything). Lorraine is so helpful and never tired of the amount of questions I asked her. I will definitely book this villa again so much so we are considering getting married in Turkey and booking the villa for our guests. Kebabs won’t be the same at home
Rebecca & Jason, Chichester Jun & Sept 2006 Hi Lorraine & Larry Just a quick note to say thank you for letting us stay at your villa we had a great time at Villa Annirozi. It was so relaxing, we planned to do so many things in the end it took me until mid-day to prise myself from the sunbeds on the master bedroom balcony to the sunloungers by the pool. We found lots of great bars & restaurants - tks for some of the recommendations. The villa is looking great and the gardens fantastic, have been showing my photos to everyone at work and the tan looks great, I think you may get a few enquiries - I hope so. Is the villa free in September as we would loved to go back for a week. Rebecca & Jason
Mailee, London Sept 2005 Hi Lorraine, Thanks for the email - we had a fabulous time! Cant believe I am back in cold old England and work....erggh! We had such a lovely time, the villa is gorgeous, everyone was very impressed. You are so lucky to have it, it looks like the whole area is about to kick off, especially with the new airport being finished next year. We had a great time - lots of swimming and relaxing by the pool, lots of lovely eating and drinking and generally relaxing. We made good use of the Dolmus - what a service, went to Fethyie, hired a boat for the day, went to Oludeniz and overall had a lovely time. The weather was awesome, everyone is very jealous of my tan! The transfers and everything were fine and the your agent was waiting for us when we got there which was great. I will be recommending the villa to everyone! Cheers Mailie
Joanna, Mathew, Lucy & Miles, Peterborough August 2005 After Mum & Dad recommended your villa, we thought we would have to give it a try for our summer hols, and a great time we had at your lovely villa, it was so much more then expected & the 4-poster was a nice surprise. I can honestly say it had everything we needed. Kids loved the space & the pools! It was perfect for a family such as ours, will definitely recommend it. Thanks for all your help & suggestions. Loved Calis, so laid back & friendly. Will return. Great for families - not expensive to eat out and children were welcomed everywhere. Jo & Matt
Barbara & Lawrence, Peterborough May & Sept 2005 We weren't sure what to expect, as this was our first visit to Turkey and everything was organised over the telephone & by email. True to form & as Lorraine said, we were meet at the airport by the transfer company (ontime) & driven to Calis (about 50mins). The entrance to Seaside is quite impressive, you are dropped on the beachside and you walk up a long path to the complex. There are plam trees swaying in the wind & the gardens are lovely. We walked into the living area of the villa and were amazed by the space, it was great as there 7 of us we never once felt on top of each other. The villa is beautiful and fully equipped & it was great to have the pool just outside. We really enjoyed our week here and will definitely being returning at some point in the future. Geoff & Family Aug 2008 Just returned from staying at Villa Annirozi with my family. The villa was fantastic, well kept clean & very conveniently located, in a quiet location but very close to the beach and a short walk to the local bars & restaurants. The complex is lovely as are the staff on site, very helpful and all speak good English. All the family enjoyed the holiday, there was lots to do in the area, we did get out and about - 12 Island boat trip, trip to Dalyan. We also enjoyed just sitting by the pool. The pool is just outside the villa which was fantastic. All the bedrooms are a good size, the living area & kitchen well equipped & very comfortably. We would recommend this villa, it is very good value, Lorraine goes out of her way to ensure everything is right & is very helpful. We would definitely look to return. All in all a very good time was had by all." |
