The name Oludeniz means dead sea that refers to its world famous blue lagoon. The lagoon is a great place to swim and cool down in the heat of summer. The main beach that visitors see however is Belcekiz. This beach provides a range of waters sports and air activities as well as being a great place to soak up the sunshine

Ovacik Village is 4 km up the mountain from Fethiye and its altitude means it's often cooler than Fethiye that is at sea level.

Hisaronu Village is situated between Ovacik and Oludeniz and is a popular destination for package tourists from Europe. Its lively bars and restaurants provides Turkish and international cooking for those who don't want to stray too far from their culinary roots.

Kaya Koy -the village sky line is dominated by the deserted Greek village that was abandoned in 1922 when Turkey and Greece swapped populations from their respective countries. The rest of the village is typically Turkish and is a great place to walk around and take in the village life. An amazing place, highly recommended.

Uzumlu -the name means 'grape' in English and refers to its main cash crop. The village centre has numerous small craft shops selling woven items and locally made wine. The local wine house is a pleasant place to try out the local vintage. The village is the starting point for tours to the ancient town of Cadianda high above the village

Saklikent High in the mountains above Fethiye, rushing torrents of icy cold water cut a narrow gorge through the mountains over thousands of years, creating Saklikent Gorge. A natural wonder, the resulting canyon is 300 metres deep and 18 kilometers long and offers visitors one of the most breathtaking excursions in all of Turkey. Saklikent Gorge has walls reaching a height of 300 metres and is navigateable for the first 18 kilometres. Saklikent in Turkish means "Hidden City". The walls are so high that they cut out most of the sunlight and the fresh spring waters that flow through are freezing cold!. A cool refuge on hot summer days, Saklikent Gorge is a favourite picnic spot where rustic restaurants overhanging the river serve delicious fresh trout and other local delicacies. You may reach Saklikent, 31 miles (50 km) to Fethiye, by car or with one of the tours organised from Oludeniz- Fethiye

Gocek set at the north-west end of the Gulf of Fethiye, Gocek is blessed with magnificent scenery. Backed by majestic mountains and substantial pine forests it looks out over the Twelve Islands, which provide shelter for Gocek's almost circular bay that has made the village such a perfect, natural harbor. Lured by such perfection, the yachting community has long made Gocek a favorite, and it is also a popular stop for gullet cruises.

Calis is 5 kilometres north of Fethiye It’s beach is a wide swathe of sand and pebble that stretches for over four kilometres, stretching down the coast past Kargi and onto Yaniklar. The promenade hosts many excellent restaurants and bars all with lovely views over the bay inlets out to sea. It is a laid back resort with something for everyone, great for families; children are welcome almost everywhere and great for adults seeking a sun and entertainment. Calis is famous for its stunning sun-sets and its cooling summer breeze.
